Carol H. Rhoades has taught spinning
and knitting in the US and abroad for many years.
Her particular interest is in Scandinavian primitive
sheep and how their wools have been used in particular
knitting traditions. She is the Technical Editor of
and a frequent contributor to Spin-Off magazine
and has also published articles in PieceWork,
Interweave Knits, and Gavstrik (a
Danish knitting magazine). Carol has translated a
number of Scandinavian knitting books into English.
